Meet The Creators

Welcome to the World of Noah Guy!

Hi, I’m Jeanne Ward—a mother of three, grandmother of two, and proud business owner. Family is everything to me, and I’ve created a unique and close-knit family environment, even at work. I live in Brooklyn, NY, where I own and operate an Early Intervention Program for young children with autism. I started my school in 1998, and since then, every one of my siblings, children, and even extended family members has worked there at one time or another. I’m also a special educator and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and I love what I do.

My journey as an author began on a family vacation with my son, Tyler. We came up with the idea for the Noah Guy children’s book series—a fun, rhyming collection of stories that follow the adventures of a character named Noah Guy. While I write the stories, Tyler creates catchy companion songs that both kids and parents will enjoy. It’s been a labor of love and a beautiful collaboration between mother and son.

The Noah Guy series brings to life the joy of imagination, adventure, and learning. Whether Noah is painting, flying to Mars, or helping out at the fire department, every story teaches children important lessons in a playful, Dr. Seuss-style format.  There’s more to come! You’ll meet Noah’s kid brother, “Little Guy,” and his friend with autism, True Blue, as the series continues to grow and inspire.

When I’m not writing or running my school, I’m spending time with my family and being the best mom and grandma I can be. I hope you and your little ones enjoy the Noah Guy adventures as much as we’ve enjoyed creating them!

Hello, My name is Tyler Ward. I am a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, audio-engineer and new dad. I have worked in multiple recording studios in both NYC and Nashville, where I had the pleasure of observing and participating in the production of a variety of different genres of music, using as many different styles of writing. I have also had the privilege of teaching music, not only as an individual instructor but as a children’s band director.  I have also had the pleasure of playing music for the children at my mom’s Early Intervention center. It is my hope that I can take these experiences and fashion something special and new for children’s music and literature.

We want you to meet Hailey Parcell, Jeannie’s niece and Tyler’s cousin.  Hailey is a junior in high school, in addition to being an impressive artist, she is a varsity athlete and an honor student.  In true family style, Hailey worked collaboratively with Jeanne and Tyler to create Noah’s image and likeness.  It was thanks to her artistic talents and their vision that Noah was born.
